RECERTIFICATION: STANDARD FIRST AID & BASIC LIFE SUPPORT CPR/AED (INCLUDES LEVEL C) COURSE OUTLINE
Standard First Aid & Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR/AED Recertification Cost: $110 including HST Student rate or bring a friend - $100.00/person ($10.00 savings!) *All Prices Include HST *Group Rates Available as well Includes 2017 First Aid & CPR Guidelines. Meets OHS regulations for Basic First Aid. Conducted by a certified Red Cross First Aid Instructor Certification 
  • 3-year certification in Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C
  • 1-year certification in Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)
Length: 8 hours Audience
  • In-facility care providers, including nursing staff, care aides, medical and dental professionals.
  • Pre-hospital care providers, which may include professionals in a fire service, rescue team, sports-medicine, lifeguards and ski patrol.
Prerequisite To qualify for this course you must have a current Red Cross Standard First Aid & BLS or HCP CPR/AED certificate.
  • If your previous course was a Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR/AED renewal, you must take a full two day course as you cannot recertify consecutively
  • If your certificate has expired or is with another agency (i.e, St John Ambulance or Lifesaving Society) you will need to take a full two day course
  • Proof of certification is required on the day of your training and we do need to see your original certificate (no photocopies)

  • Min. 75% mark for written knowledge evaluation
  • Attend and participate in 100% of the course

Comprehensive First Aid & CPR techniques for those who need training for work requirements, or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies in the workplace or home. The course covers a variety of topics from basic (such as cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, CPR Level C, prevention of disease transmission) to in-depth topics, such as sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine.
