RECERTIFICATION: CPR/AED LEVEL C COURSE OUTLINE
Duration: 1-day (6 hours) Cost: $55.00 including HST Student rate or bring a friend - $50.00/person ($5.00 savings!) Includes 2010 First Aid & CPR Guidelines. Meets OHS regulations for Basic First Aid. Conducted by a certified Red Cross First Aid Instructor Certification 3-year certification in Red Cross CPR/AED Level C & AED Prerequisite: To qualify for this course you must have a current Red Cross (or equivalent) CPR/AED Level C or HCP certificate. Courses on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) provide the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR chosen. All include training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Courses offer training suitable for workplace or general interest. Includes the latest CPR guidelines. Completion
  • Successfully demonstrate skills and critical steps

Course content Covers all CPR Level B course material and includes two-rescuer Adult/Child CPR; intended for professional rescuers, (i.e, Police, Firefighters, First Responders, Workplace First Aid Teams, and Lifeguards)

RECERTIFICATION: BASIC LIFE SUPPORT(BLS) CPR & AED COURSE OUTLINE
Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR/AED Duration: 1-day (6 hours) Prerequisites: none Cost: $70.00 including HST Student rate or bring a friend - $65.00/person ($5.00 savings!) *All Prices Include HST Designed to build participant confidence in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills and provide the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, perform Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and perform rapid defibrillation. Prerequisite
  • To qualify for this course you must have a current Red Cross BLS or HCP CPR/AED certificate.
  • Proof of certification is required on the day of your training
Audience
  • In-facility care providers, including nursing staff, care aides, medical and dental professionals.
  • Pre-hospital care providers, which may include professionals in a fire service, rescue team, sports-medicine, lifeguards and ski patrol.
Completion
